Pure Ocean Pacific

The ocean water you receive from Pure Ocean Pacific is kept pure from harvest to delivery. Maritime Logistics harvests pure ocean water from a minimum of 20 miles from the shoreline. Water harvested any closer than 10 miles out will be at a greater risk of coastal contamination. When the ocean water reaches the docks we transport the test samples to Centauri Labs within the hour. Finally, our food grade containers are sealed tight to ensure our product has not come in contact with any common work place contaminant.

Captain Frank Loving has owned and operated Maritime Logistics based out of Morro Bay, California and has been involved in the maritime industry since 2002. He moved to Morro Bay in 1968 and still lives in his same home. Frank is a third generation boat captain with four vessels prepared for any ocean challenge. Previous to this Frank held the position of Marine Superintendent of Antone Sylvester Tug Service Inc. and Engineer starting back in 1993 operating in the Pacific Coast to the Panama Canal and Gulf of Mexico. He also served Metson Marine & Logan and Logan as captain from the Oregon coast to San Diego. Earlier assignments have taken him as far as South America (Chile).

Maritime Logistics navigates the harvest location and brings back ocean solution in food grade tanks/barrels. Along with an experienced crew to assist him Frank has qualified as a 1600 ton Master of Towing, 3000 ton ITC Tonnage Master, Radar Observer Unlimited, Full ARPA Radar Endorsement, Any Oceans Endorsement, GMDSS Radio Operators License, H2S Safety Equipment, First Responder Haz Mat, Offshore Survival, Open Water Diver and much more.

Frank has had personal exposure to and or awareness of maritime life canvassing from the Oregon Coast to Panama Canal and between, having also associated with crews that have served longer. After using purE90 himself, Frank is excited to assist others in obtaining the purest sea water based solution each trip and the possibilities for a superior quality of life.

Mark & Boat

Captain Mark M. Tognazzini has been the self-employed owner/operator of the Bonnie Marietta since her construction in 1981. He also supervised her construction and did the final outfitting. Together they have fished commercially from the Mexican border to Sitka, Alaska, in pursuit of hook and line catch. He has also provided a wide variety of charter services with the Bonnie Marietta, including but not limited to, diver support, side scan, multi beam, sub-bottom profiling, core sampling, water sampling, oil recovery, marine mammal observation, and ROV support, etc.

Captain Mark has over 3 decades of experience in commercial and passenger fishing, and ocean research. He holds a United States Coast Guard Masters license, is Hazwoper trained, and holds certification in sea survival training. He has performed a wide variety of charter work with the Bonnie Marietta, including but not limited to, diver support, side scan, multi beam, sub-bottom profiling, core sampling, water sampling, oil recovery, marine mammal observation, and ROV (Remote Operated Vehicle) support.

Founded in 1998, Centauri Labs Inc. is an environmental testing lab in San Luis Obispo, California providing quality analysis. Centauri Labs certifies our product to ensure that it is free of a long list of chemicals and pollutants. They are certified by the California Department of Health Services ELAP #1958 and is now certified for TPH by GC/MS.

The Lab operates in a 4,000 sq. ft. facility equipped to measure a side spectrum of organic and inorganic chemical and microbiologic analyses. Lab instrumentation includes GC,GC/MS, ICP, ICP/MS, FLAA, IC, spectrometers, incubators and more. It employs a state-of-the-art Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) to electronically handle all sample tracking and reporting, offering customized reports, Electronic Data Transfers (EDT) and Electronic Data Deliverables (EDD). The last lab analysis performed in August 2009 included the strictest drinking water standards for volatile organics. None of the 66 volatile compounds were detected. In addition to this a Total Coliform Bacteria test revealed nothing detectable at or above the detection limits.
